Drawing of the TempleThis drawing is one of David Best's designs for the Burning Man Temple, the City's most sacred gathering place where people come together to grieve and reflect before the building is burned at the end of the week. David Best oversaw the design and creation of 9 Temples, his last in 2016. Each drawing featured in the exhibit displayed a unique design, demonstrating the principle that even classic components of an organization must evolve with changing times.

Burning Man PosterThis poster is an announcement for the 1988 Burning Man gathering on Baker Beach in San Francisco. Believed to be the first time the event was publicly referred to as "Burning Man", this poster demonstrates how an event can be represented to attract interest and participation, and how first marketing iterations will have lasting impact on a brand.

Burning Man's Global Reach
This display features a collection of photographs, charts, drawings and patches that demonstrate that Burning Man's cultural reach extends far beyond Black Rock City. The goal of entrepreneurs and innovators is to have a significant impact on as many people as possible, and this global expansion of the festival demonstrates that Burning Man is achieving its original goal of changing and shaping our culture.
